Little Nightmares III Locks in Switch 2 Release Date

Dragon Quest Series Visual Retrospective

After months of silence, Little Nightmares III now has a confirmed release date for all platforms, including Nintendo Switch 2. The eerie co-op horror experience will drop October 10, with early pre-orders unlocking the Dark Six Costumes Set.

The game continues the franchise’s chilling tone with a new theme: an abandoned funfair gone wrong. Players will once again control small children navigating giant, grotesque environments full of puzzles, traps, and creepy NPCs.

Enhanced Edition of the Original Game Coming Same Day

Also launching on October 10 is Little Nightmares: Enhanced Edition, a next-gen upgrade for the original 2017 game. This new version for Switch 2 adds smoother framerate, higher resolution visuals, faster loading times, and quality-of-life improvements tailored for modern systems.

This will mark the first time both titles are available in upgraded form on a Nintendo platform, offering a definitive way to experience the series for Switch 2 owners.

👻 Little Nightmares Returns October 10

Both Little Nightmares III and Little Nightmares: Enhanced Edition arrive on Switch 2 the same day. Enhanced visuals, fast load times, and co-op horror gameplay make this a must-watch duo this Halloween season.
